Terms & Conditions
1) Booking & acceptance
- A booking is confirmed only when: (a) the form is submitted and (b) WarwickJBL confirms by DM/message.
- Submitting the form does not reserve the date. Confirmation is required.
2) Deposit
- Deposit: £60. Held against damage, loss, missing parts, excessive cleaning, or late return.
- Returned after return + inspection if there are no issues.
3) Late returns
- Late fees apply if equipment is not returned by the agreed time.
- If the speaker is not returned on the agreed day, an additional £40 per day applies.
- Late fees may be deducted from the deposit. If fees exceed the deposit, you agree to pay the balance.
4) Damage, loss, missing parts
- The renter is responsible for equipment during the hire period, even if someone else uses it.
- If there is damage/missing parts, WarwickJBL will provide evidence (photos/video) and a repair/replacement estimate.
- Deposit may be kept in full/part. If costs exceed the deposit, you agree to pay the balance within 7 days.
5) Misuse
- No water exposure, smoke machines, unsafe power, or tampering.
- Do not open the unit or attempt repairs.
- Do not leave equipment unattended in public spaces.
6) Pickup & delivery
- Pickup location agreed via Instagram.
7) Cancellation
- Cancellation is fine but please message first and as early as possible.
8) Liability
- WarwickJBL is not liable for indirect losses (event disruption, complaints, fines).
- Liability is limited to the hire fee paid, except where prohibited by law.
